Brass Water Meter Coupling Brass Pipe Fittings
Brass meter coupling, brass threaded fitting used to connect equipment that measures water consumption (water meters).
The brass meter coupling is a pipe fitting commonly used for connecting to a water meter installation,
but can also be used to connect network elements or other accessories provided with threaded connection.
Due to its characteristics, this pipe fitting allows successive assembly and disassembly operations and always ensuring correct sealing.
The fitting consists of two parts: a cone and a nut.
The cone has a male threaded end for connection to the installation.
At the opposite end has a circular flange where the gasket sits for mounting to the threaded ends of the meter equipment.
Between the flange and the threaded end there is a cylindrical section with hexagonal shape to easy tightening at the time of assembling.
The nut, used to tighten the connection between the connector and the end of the meter, has holes to put a seal.
